Happy Birthday Baby Girl.

Another catalyst for starting this blog...as a record of our lives. Today is my baby girl's birthday. Emma Lilly Grace...aka...Cupcake. My sweet, delicious girl. Always there to tell me how pretty I look. She is too kind. She is such a sweet natured thing. Easy going and charming. We're in the middle of making chocolate chip cookies to share with her kindergarten friends tomorrow. Wouldn't you know...I ran out of flour. Happy Birthday. Enjoy your very special day! The picture above was taken in Grand Cayman this summer. Just after Hurricane Gustav hit the island. She found that "sheshell" washed up on the beach after the storm.

Here We Go Again!

I'm going to give this a try again. Not sure why I'm so intimidated about blogging. I certainly love reading about the things that go on in other bloggers' lives. I guess it's just the thought that my blog will not be good or interesting. I'm hopelessly uninteresting. One of the reasons I decided to go ahead is because I want to make my life more interesting, make sure I take the time to do things that I love and even the things that I don't love. I'm hoping that if I share that with all of you, it will make me more accountable to do all of those things. So...let me introduce myself. My name is Sheila, I live in Michigan. I'm a stay at home mom to two kids. Mitchell, 8 and Emma, 6. Oh...and here is an old picture of my home.
